China and Russia
Relations between China and Russia have deepened across several areas in recent years. At the Swedish National China Centre, we monitor this evolving relationship through analysis and knowledge resources, with a focus on its implications for the global balance of power, the security environment, and trade and technology flows.
Together with our partners, we operate the China–Russia Dashboard, a data-driven platform that analyses the development of the relationship and tracks how it changes over time.
We also collaborate with other expert and research organisations and networks, including our sister centre at the Swedish Institute of International Affairs, the Stockholm Centre for Eastern European Studies (SCEEUS), to deepen understanding of China–Russia relations and their implications for Sweden and Europe.
