The Swedish National China Centre (NKK) at UI, together with the China Office of Finnish Industries, Hong Kong-based lawyer Kristian Odebjer, and the Sweden-China Trade Council, is pleased to invite you to the launch of the report Compliance Dilemmas: How Nordic Companies Navigate Conflicting Regulatory Requirements in China.

The report explores how Nordic companies operating in China are responding to increasingly complex compliance challenges arising from overlapping and sometimes conflicting legal and regulatory requirements across jurisdictions.

Based on interviews with company representatives and an analysis of broader market trends, the study highlights the practical implications for day-to-day operations, risk management, and strategic decision-making.

During the launch event, we will present the report’s main findings and discuss their implications with project partners and invited experts. The programme will also feature a moderated panel discussion, followed by an opportunity for audience questions. We will conclude the event with a light lunch and networking opportunity.
