Nicholas Olczak

Associate analyst

Nicholas Olczak is also an Research Fellow at the Europe programme and associated with the Asia programme at UI, as well as a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Economic History and International Relations at Stockholm University.

Nicholas is currently part of a MISTRA Geopolitics project, which is examining state and stakeholder views on Arctic Governance (more information is available here).  He holds a PhD in International Relations from Stockholm University. For his doctoral thesis, he researched the connections between online identity discourses and China's changing foreign policy.
