The Swedish National China Centre is collaborating as a partner in the “ReConnect China: Upgrading Independent Knowledge on Contemporary China in Europe” project, which has been initiated under the auspices of the Horizon Europe framework by the European Commission.
The primary aim of the project is to investigate the opportunities and challenges in the EU-China relationship. This project, which will continue until 2026, is divided into four key areas:
- Science and technology
- Economy and trade
- Domestic governance
- Foreign policy
The Swedish National China Centre is actively participating in the area of foreign policy, where it is leading the research on security and defence issues. More information about the project can be found here.
